Often with strong theoretical positions, each programme could be characterised as a space of learning, a network, and community that revolves around an immediacy, based on a relationship between artistic practice and locale. Art unfolds in these settings as social practice where the site functions simultaneously as an environment of production and a space of critique and reception. Each participant was asked to exhibit their educational or pedagogic framework and thereby reflect the intersection of pedagogy, artistic practice, and curatorial work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"p1\"\u003eArtists, researchers, and educators came to explore these intersecting currents during the symposium held on 1 and 2 July 2023, in order\u0026nbsp;to articulate and critique recent developments in artist-led pedagogy and institutional practice.
